Weekly Exchange Statistics

I thought it would be good to start publishing some weekly exchange statistics on our forum, not everyone idles on our telegram groups where we tend to discuss trading so I think it will good to start publishing this on our forum.

I believe eventually these sort of stats will be displayed somewhere on the main website, note that it is information already accessible via Saturn’s API so it is entirely possible to make your own interface to start querying this data & displaying it however you wish.

Just I know not everyone is a developer, so thought I would give you some numbers for now.

  • Total trades: 581
  • Total orders: 743
  • Token count: 115
  • Saturn DAO tokens mined: 2242.0841
  • Total volume: 89.460075936895797005 ETH
  • Total users: 145
  • Volume last 7 days: 3.445078784698375 ETH

Ethereum trading peaked this week on Monday 4th, where we saw a volume of 1.229269875 ETH. I was quite happy watching trades happen this past week on ETH as we saw some steady trading activity across multiple tokens (STISH, SATURN, SCUDO, FGP, UXET, EUM and more!) and not just one or two tokens being traded. This is definitely what we need to continue growing, so I am excited to see what happens next week!

Ethereum Classic

  • Total trades: 3152
  • Total orders: 4229
  • Token count: 78
  • Saturn Classic DAO tokens mined: 300261.1789
  • Total volume: 12664.1194914988945360821 ETC
  • Total users: 256
  • Volume last 7 days: 87.230622526 ETC

Anyone who has been following us since we launched on Ethereum Classic will probably have noticed that trading volume tends to jump up & down quickly on ETC. Just this week we can see the volume jumped up to 29 ETC on Wednesday but then was back down to 5 ETC on Thursday.

The reason I believe this happens is because the token marketplace on ETC really is still so very young and the tokens we see listing on Saturn Network are very new projects. Therefore we see days where traders buy up these new tokens, but are now hodling waiting to see how these projects develop. In that sense it is very exciting but I think it will remain a much more volatile marketplace in terms of volume & price for the considerable future.

That’s all for now! Future is bright
